La carte
Sānwer Map Poster & Print
Sānwer is a town in Indore district of Madhya Pradesh, a short distance north of the city of Indore on the Malwa plateau. The land here is broad and gently rolling, farmed in wide fields of black soil. On the map the town appears as a compact, closely built centre with roads leading away in several directions.
The old core is a close mesh of narrow lanes and small blocks, typical of market towns in central India, where houses, shops and temples stand side by side. Newer streets spread more loosely along the main roads around it, and beyond them the pattern opens into field boundaries and village tracks crossing the plateau.
A Sānwer map poster is a personal, local image rather than a famous cityscape. It suits people from the town and the surrounding villages who want a clear picture of home to keep, especially as Indore's growth brings new roads and development closer and gradually changes the edges of the map.

Malwa farmland
