Sīnah Map Poster & Print
Sīnah lies in Duhok governorate in the Kurdistan Region of northern Iraq, in the hill country that rises toward the mountains along the borders with Turkey. On a map the area appears as a network of residential streets set among ridges and shallow valleys, with main roads following the easiest lines through the terrain toward nearby towns.
Duhok governorate combines mountain ranges to the north with more open, rolling land to the south, and settlements here have grown quickly in recent decades. Roads link the area with the city of Duhok and the wider region, and the arrangement of neighbourhoods reflects the lie of the land more than any formal plan.
A Sīnah map poster renders this landscape as a set of calm, precise lines. Streets gather in clusters where the ground allows, roads bend around slopes, and open land fills the spaces between. The result is an image grounded in the terrain of northern Iraq, understated and specific, and meaningful to anyone who calls the area home.
