Sinda Map Poster & Print
Sinda is a town in Zambia's Eastern Province and the centre of the district of the same name. It lies on the Great East Road, the main highway linking Lusaka with Chipata and the Malawi border, and the map makes that obvious. The town stretches along the road, and most streets branch off it in short, simple spurs.
Farmland surrounds the built-up area, with small fields, homesteads and footpaths spread across gently rolling ground. Seasonal streams leave faint lines between the plots. On a black and white print this gives one strong east–west axis and a wide, finely textured surround, quite unlike the dense grids of larger towns.
A Sinda map poster is a small tribute to a place most travellers only pass through on the way east. For the villages around it, Sinda is a market, a service centre and the seat of local government. For people who come from here, it is a clear, quiet image of home along the Great East Road.

District centre
As the seat of Sinda District, the town has offices, services and trade close to the road. This forms the densest part of an otherwise open sheet.
Farmland patchwork
Small fields, homesteads and paths surround the town. On the poster they become a light, irregular texture that frames the central road and gives the print depth.
