Sirohi Map Poster & Print
Sirohi lies in southwestern Rajasthan, where the Aravalli range rises out of the dry plains. The town sits at the base of rocky hills, and on a map the old centre forms a dense knot of narrow, winding lanes, while newer streets spread outward in straighter lines across flatter ground. Hills close in on one side, giving the town a natural boundary.
Sirohi was the capital of a Rajput princely state, and its palace stands on the slope above the old town. The town has long been famous for its swords: the Sirohi blade was known across India for its quality. The district also includes Mount Abu, Rajasthan's only hill station, and the Dilwara temples, which lie a short distance to the southwest.
A Sirohi map poster shows the relationship between the town and its hills. The tight, irregular lanes of the old quarter contrast with the open, rocky ground around them, and roads lead away across the plain toward other towns in the region. In black and white, the map has the look of an old settlement held close to its protective slopes.

Pourquoi Sirohi
Une carte qui a du sens
For families from Sirohi, the map holds the lanes of the old town and the hills that frame it. It suits anyone with ties to southern Rajasthan, and it makes a good gift for relatives who now live in larger cities.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or a wedding date. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand works especially well for the Rajasthan landscape.
