La carte
Soygaon Map Poster & Print
Soygaon is a town in the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district of Maharashtra, in the north of the state. It lies on the farmland near the Ajanta range, a line of hills that rises between the Deccan plateau and the Khandesh plains. On the map the town is a compact cluster of streets in a wide pattern of fields and village roads.
The famous Ajanta caves, with their Buddhist murals and sculpture carved into a horseshoe-shaped gorge, lie in the hills a short distance south-east of the town. Around Soygaon itself, the landscape is mostly agricultural, with cotton and other crops, and scattered villages linked by rural roads.
A Soygaon map poster shows a quiet, modest town in a very open setting. The dense centre gives the print its focus. Roads lead away into the countryside, and the fields and slopes at the edges add a light, irregular texture. It is a simple map that suits a calm, uncluttered room.

Rural roads
Several roads leave the town toward neighbouring villages and the district. They draw thin lines across the fields and link Soygaon to the wider region.
Ajanta hills
To the south-east, the land rises into the hills where the Ajanta caves are cut into a curving gorge. This gives the region its best-known landmark.

Pourquoi Soygaon
Une carte qui a du sens
For families from Soygaon and the surrounding villages, and for travellers who passed through on the way to Ajanta, this map is a simple reminder of a small town on open land. It is a thoughtful gift for relatives who live far away.
You can edit the title and subtitle, add a date such as a festival or a wedding, and change the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Sand's warm tone suits the dry farmland of the region.
