Market square
The broad rectangular square with the town hall block in the middle forms the heart of the old town. Streets leave it at the corners and sides in a regular medieval pattern.

Świdnica Map Poster & Print
Świdnica lies in Lower Silesia, in south-western Poland, at the foot of the Sudetes. The old town is one of the most distinct parts of the map: a large market square with a town hall at its centre, surrounded by a close network of streets. A ring of green spaces follows the line of the old fortifications, and the Bystrzyca river passes along the eastern side.
The town is best known for its Church of Peace, a large timber-framed church built in the seventeenth century and listed by UNESCO together with its twin in Jawor. The Gothic cathedral, with one of the tallest church towers in the region, rises above the old town.
A Świdnica map poster captures this clear structure: the square at the centre, the streets around it, the green ring beyond, and then the wider residential districts. It is an easy map to read, and it shows how a medieval trading town has kept its original shape.

Church of Peace
The UNESCO-listed timber church stands within its own green grounds just north of the old town. On the map it reads as a quiet open patch beside the denser streets.
Green ring
Parks and walks follow the line of the former walls and wrap around the historic centre. They separate the old town from the later districts on paper as clearly as on the ground.
