Cebu's eastern shore
The shoreline runs along the eastern edge of the city. Coastal roads follow it closely and draw a strong line between the dense streets and the open water.

La carte
Talisay Map Poster & Print
Talisay lies on the eastern coast of Cebu, directly south of Cebu City, and the two now merge along the shore. On a map the coastal highway and older roads run parallel to the sea, and a denser network of barangay streets fills the flat land behind them. Further inland the ground rises and the roads thin into winding lines that follow the ridges.
The city is part of Metro Cebu and has grown quickly as housing spread south from the regional capital. In recent years reclaimed land and new coastal roads have changed the edge of the map. They have added straight lines to a shoreline once shaped only by beaches and river mouths.
Talisay is known across the Philippines for its lechon. Its coast also has a place in wartime history: American forces landed on its beach in March 1945 during the campaign to retake Cebu. A Talisay map poster brings together the coastline, the dense lowland streets and the first rise of the hills.

Lowland street network
Between the coast and the hills, a tight pattern of barangay roads and residential lanes fills the flat ground. It shows how quickly the city has grown alongside Cebu City.
Rising interior
Inland, the land climbs toward the central hills of Cebu. The street network gives way to long, curving roads that trace ridges and valleys.

Pourquoi Talisay
Une carte qui a du sens
For families from Talisay working elsewhere in the Philippines or overseas, a map of home is something to keep close. You can add a title, a subtitle with a barangay name or a special date, and the coordinates of the place where the story began.
Blueprint and Noir frame the coastline strongly, while Paper, Sand and Classic black & white give calmer tones. You can get the digital set for $9 and print it locally, or order a matte poster shipped from a print partner.
