Sierra de Espuña
The mountain range northwest of town is a protected natural park. Its slopes appear on the map as a web of curving forest tracks, set clearly apart from the straight valley roads below.

La carte
Totana Map Poster & Print
Totana lies in the Region of Murcia, where the broad Guadalentín valley meets the mountains of the Sierra de Espuña. The contrast is clear on the map. To the southeast there's flat, gridded farmland and irrigated plots, and to the northwest the land rises quickly into forested slopes crossed by winding tracks.
The town itself is compact. A tighter older core has grown outward in newer blocks along the roads leading to the valley and the motorway. Totana is known for its long pottery tradition, and nearby is La Bastida, one of the most important Bronze Age sites of the Argaric culture in the western Mediterranean.
A Totana map poster captures a town on a threshold. Printed in a single ink, the orderly lines of the valley farmland sit against the looser shapes of the sierra, and the town is the point where the two systems meet. It's a strong composition for anyone who knows the drive up into Espuña.

Guadalentín plain
Southeast of Totana the valley opens into a patchwork of irrigated fields and rural lanes, a geometric pattern that gives the lower half of the poster its structure.
La Bastida
Close to the town is the Bronze Age hilltop settlement of La Bastida, a major Argaric site, which ties this quiet landscape to a very long human presence.

Pourquoi Totana
Une carte qui a du sens
Totana suits people who know the region through family, walking in Espuña or the slower rhythm of inland Murcia. The map shows the mountain and the valley together, which is how the town is actually experienced.
The title, subtitle and coordinates can all be personalised, and the design comes in five styles. Sand and Paper suit the warm dry landscape, while Blueprint and Noir give it a sharper, more graphic look.
