Old town core
The older part of Varangaon is a dense cluster of narrow, irregular streets around its market. On the map it is the darkest, most detailed area.

Varangaon Map Poster & Print
Varangaon is in Jalgaon district, in northern Maharashtra, in the fertile Tapi basin not far from Bhusawal. This is flat farming country, known regionally for bananas and cotton, and on a map the town is surrounded by a patchwork of field boundaries and rural roads leading to nearby villages.
The town has two clearly distinct parts. The older settlement is compact, with irregular streets around its market. Some distance away is the planned township of the Ordnance Factory Varangaon, with orderly roads, repeating housing blocks and open grounds. On a map the difference between the two is very obvious: organic growth next to deliberate planning.
A Varangaon map poster shows both parts and the fields that connect them. It is a quiet image, but a telling one: an old market town and a twentieth-century industrial settlement placed side by side on the same plain, both surrounded by agriculture.

Ordnance township
The factory estate is laid out with straight roads and regular blocks of housing. Its measured grid contrasts clearly with the older town.
Tapi farmland
Fields around the town are divided into neat plots by tracks and irrigation channels, which gives the map an even, calm background texture.
