Sahuayo de Morelos Map Poster & Print
Sahuayo de Morelos lies in the northwest of Michoacán, in the Ciénega region close to the southeastern shore of Lake Chapala, Mexico's largest lake. The town has a classic Mexican plan: a regular grid of blocks around a central plaza and parish church, expanding outward into newer neighbourhoods as the population grew.
It forms a close pair with neighbouring Jiquilpan, and the two towns are linked by road across the flat, fertile land of the valley. Hills rise nearby, while the lake shore lies a short distance to the north, giving the surrounding landscape a mix of plain, slope and water.
A Sahuayo de Morelos map poster renders this with clarity. The central grid is precise and dense, the outer streets bend with the terrain, and the roads leading toward Jiquilpan and the lake extend the composition into its region.
