La mappa
Alpharetta Map Poster & Print
Alpharetta lies in north Fulton County, north of Atlanta. From above, the pattern is typical of the region's later suburbs: winding residential streets, cul-de-sacs and wooded lots, crossed by a few main roads. The strongest line is Georgia State Route 400, a highway running north to south through the city, with office campuses and commercial centres grouped along it.
The older downtown sits west of the highway around the crossing of Main Street and Milton Avenue. In recent years it has been rebuilt with a new city hall, a green and a tighter mesh of walkable blocks. Nearby, the Avalon development adds another dense, planned street pattern, in contrast with the looser layout of surrounding neighbourhoods.
Big Creek and its greenway trail run through the city as a green, meandering band. The city has marketed itself as a technology hub, and many company offices line the highway. An Alpharetta map poster shows how the highway, the rebuilt downtown and the creek fit together in a single frame.

Rebuilt downtown
The historic centre around Main Street has been redeveloped with a city green and new blocks. On the map it forms a small, tighter grid among curving suburban streets.
Big Creek Greenway
A trail follows Big Creek through wooded floodplain across the city. Its winding path shows as a soft line through neighbourhoods and business parks.

Perché Alpharetta
Una mappa che ha un significato
Many people arrive in Alpharetta for work, then stay to raise a family, so the city becomes home over time. A map of the streets around a first house or a favourite trail is a personal record of that time.
Set the title and subtitle to a family name, street or moving date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. A free watermarked preview comes first. After that you can buy $9 HD files or a printed poster on matte paper, framed if you like.
