Old town lanes
At the centre, narrow lanes twist between traditional buildings. On the poster they form a dense, irregular pattern very different from the rest of the map.

La mappa
Longxing Map Poster & Print
Longxing is a town in the Yubei district of Chongqing, on the rolling land north-east of the city centre. On the map, a small, tight knot of old streets sits at its heart, surrounded by newer roads, housing developments and patches of farmland on the hills.
The town is known for its old quarter, which retains traditional streets and buildings from the Ming and Qing periods, including temples and guild halls. It has become a popular destination for visitors from Chongqing looking for a quieter, older atmosphere just outside the modern city.
A Longxing map poster shows two scales of the city side by side. The fine, irregular lanes of the old town contrast with the broad, planned roads spreading around it, and the hills around the edges add curving lines to the composition.

New road network
Wide, straight roads around the old town reflect recent development and appear on the print as bold lines framing the historic core.
Hilly surroundings
Rolling hills and farmland surround the town, with roads bending to follow the terrain, which softens the edges of the composition.
