Curving residential lanes
Neighbourhood streets bend, loop and end in cul-de-sacs. From above they look like branching lines, a clear sign of postwar suburban planning.

La mappa
North Druid Hills Map Poster & Print
North Druid Hills is a mostly residential community in DeKalb County, northeast of central Atlanta. On a map, it has no single downtown. Instead, curving neighbourhood streets, loops and cul-de-sacs fill the spaces between a few major roads. Much of the area has mature tree cover, which is common in this part of metro Atlanta.
Small creeks run through the area in shallow valleys, and many streets bend around them. That gives the map a relaxed, flowing look. Near the arterial roads and the interstate, the pattern tightens around shopping centres and apartment complexes, where the street network becomes more functional and blocky.
A North Druid Hills map poster suits anyone who lives on these quiet streets and knows how short the trip is to Emory, Decatur and Buckhead. The print shows the neighbourhood as a system of branching lanes connected to a few strong roads. Many Atlanta suburbs share this shape, but the exact arrangement here is unique.

Creek corridors
Small streams cut shallow green valleys through the area. Streets bend around these corridors, which adds gentle interruptions to the pattern.
Arterial spines
A few major roads cross the community and connect it to the rest of the city. They are the boldest lines on the map, and denser commercial blocks cluster along them.

Perché North Druid Hills
Una mappa che ha un significato
North Druid Hills makes a good print for homeowners, graduate students and families who have lived near Emory or Decatur. The winding streets look almost botanical, which suits a calm room or a home office.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line to mark a first home or a graduation year. There are five styles: Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Blueprint suits the orderly spread of suburban streets.
