Old Town grid
A small set of straight, regular blocks marks the original town centre. It sits apart from the newer curving neighbourhoods and reads clearly as the historic heart of Sherwood.

La mappa
Sherwood Map Poster & Print
Sherwood lies in Washington County, Oregon, on the southwestern edge of the Portland metropolitan area. It grew from a small farming and railway town into a busy suburb, and its map still shows both stages: a compact historic grid known as Old Town, surrounded by larger modern neighbourhoods of curving streets and cul-de-sacs.
The northern edge of town borders the Tualatin River National Wildlife Refuge, whose wetlands and floodplain appear on the map as open, irregular ground with very few roads. Highway 99W runs along the eastern side, a strong diagonal that separates commercial strips from the quieter residential areas to the west.
A Sherwood map poster brings these layers together. Old Town's straight blocks, the looser suburban patterns, the highway and the empty wetland space make a balanced composition. Locals also know the town for its annual Robin Hood Festival, a long-running tradition that plays on the shared name with the English forest.

Tualatin River refuge
The national wildlife refuge on the northern edge leaves a wide area of wetland and floodplain almost free of streets, giving the poster an open, natural border.
Highway 99W
This major road cuts diagonally along the east side of town, a single bold line that contrasts with the finer residential street pattern around it.
