La mappa
West Valley City Map Poster & Print
West Valley City spreads across the western half of the Salt Lake Valley in Utah. From above, it is a textbook example of the regional grid. Wide arterial roads run at even intervals north–south and east–west, and residential streets curve and loop inside the large blocks they create. The Jordan River marks the eastern side, and to the west the land rises toward the Oquirrh Mountains.
The city was incorporated in 1980 from several existing communities and has since become the second-largest city in Utah. It is home to the Maverik Center arena and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. It is also one of the most diverse communities in the state, with a population drawn from many countries and backgrounds.
A West Valley City map poster shows the logic of the valley at a glance. The strict grid of arterials carries numbered streets typical of the Salt Lake area, while cul-de-sacs and curving lanes fill the blocks in between. Highways cut across at an angle. The result is structured and calm, a clean graphic image that suits modern interiors.

Jordan River edge
The Jordan River winds along the eastern side of the city. Its meandering line is the one strong natural curve in an otherwise geometric landscape.
Oquirrh foothills
To the west the grid thins out as the land rises toward the Oquirrh Mountains. It leaves open, quiet space at the edge of the poster.

Perché West Valley City
Una mappa che ha un significato
West Valley City is where many people have put down roots, bought a first house or raised children. A map of their grid, down to the street they lived on, turns everyday geography into something worth framing.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a street, a family name or a year, and choose Classic black and white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint emphasises the valley's precise grid.
