Dalpat Sagar
A large lake beside the town centre that appears as a broad, calm shape on the map. The streets curve around its shoreline, and it is the clearest landmark in the layout.

The map
Jagdalpur Map Poster & Print
Jagdalpur is the headquarters of Bastar district in southern Chhattisgarh, set on a forested plateau far from the state's larger cities. On a map, the town is a fairly compact knot of streets. Roads run out toward the surrounding villages and woodland, and the Indravati River passes close by on its way west. The town fades quickly into farmland and forest.
Near the centre, the grounds of the old Bastar Palace and the open water of Dalpat Sagar lake show up as distinct shapes among the smaller blocks. Around them the street pattern is irregular and has grown over time. Its lanes bend to meet one another and don't follow a grid. It is a modest layout that reads cleanly once the colour is gone.
A Jagdalpur map poster shows the town the way it looks from above: a centre around the palace and lake, spreading residential lanes, and the edge where the roads thin out into countryside. In black and white, the water and open ground stand out against the denser streets. The region's river and forest setting can still be traced along the edges of the frame.

Indravati River
The river runs near the town before heading west toward Chitrakote Falls. Its winding course gives the southern Bastar landscape a natural line that contrasts with the town's street pattern.
Palace quarter
The old Bastar Palace sits at the heart of the town. Its grounds are an open space that the older streets were laid out around, and they anchor the rest of the map.

Why Jagdalpur
A map that means something
Jagdalpur is closely tied to Bastar, a region known for its long Dussehra festival and its forests. People who grew up here or have worked here often want a quiet reminder of the place, and a map in black and white gives exactly that.
You can set your own title and subtitle, for example a family name or the year you arrived, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Each one gives the lake and lanes a slightly different mood.
