The map
Moriya Map Poster & Print
Moriya is a city in southern Ibaraki, on the north side of the Tone River, which forms the boundary with Chiba. Its map shows a mix of older settlement along the river and newer residential districts laid out around the railway, with rice fields and low wetland still visible between them.
The city grew significantly after the opening of the Tsukuba Express in 2005, which put Moriya within easy reach of Akihabara in central Tokyo. Moriya Station, where the Tsukuba Express meets the Kantō Railway Jōsō Line, became the focus of new housing and commercial development.
A Moriya map poster shows these layers. The Tone River runs as a broad band across the frame, the rail lines cut straight through the town, and the new districts appear as tidy, planned streets beside the irregular older roads and the open fields that remain.

Paddy fields
Rice fields and low wetland remain between the neighbourhoods, leaving open spaces that contrast with the new residential streets.

Why Moriya
A map that means something
Moriya suits commuters and families who chose it for its quick link to Tokyo, and people who remember it before the new districts arrived. The river and rail lines make it a clear, well-structured map.
Set the title, subtitle and coordinates line in your own words, and choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper gives the fields and river a soft look, while Noir sharpens the rail lines.
