Ko e mape
Andradas lies in the south of Minas Gerais, close to the border with São Paulo state and not far from Poços de Caldas. Unlike the flat grids of the plains, the town follows its terrain: streets wind along hillsides, curve around valleys and climb toward higher ground. On the map this makes for a lively, organic pattern, surrounded by farmland and the forested slopes of the serra.
The municipality is known in Minas Gerais for its wine, with a winemaking tradition brought by Italian immigrants and kept up by local producers, and wine festivals are part of the town calendar. Coffee and other crops are grown across the surrounding hills, and the landscape of ridges and valleys draws visitors interested in the countryside.
An Andradas map poster captures a town shaped by relief: curving streets, irregular blocks and roads following ridgelines out of town. In black and white the pattern reads almost like a drawing of the landscape itself, and it makes a distinct counterpart to the regular grids found across much of the Brazilian interior.
Streets curve across the slopes rather than following a strict grid, giving the centre of Andradas a flowing, irregular pattern on the map.
Roads leave the town along valleys and ridges, bending with the terrain toward neighbouring towns and the border with São Paulo.
Farmland and patches of forest across the hills form a quiet backdrop, with scattered rural roads leading out to farms and wineries.

Ko e ha Andradas
Andradas is the kind of town people return to for holidays and family gatherings, and a map of it keeps that connection visible all year. It also makes a good gift for anyone who loves wine country or the hills of southern Minas.
Personalise the poster with a title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps the name of a family farm or a wedding date, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand and Paper suit the warm, rural character of the place.
