Ko e mape
Cam Lộ lies in Quảng Trị province in central Vietnam, just inland from Đông Hà, where the flat coastal lowlands begin to rise toward the Trường Sơn range. On a map, the town is shaped by a river and a road. The Hiếu River bends through the area, and National Highway 9 runs west past the town toward the Lao border.
The area is historically linked to the former demilitarised zone, which lay a short distance to the north. It is often visited alongside wartime sites in the province. Today, the map shows a quieter pattern. The town centre gathers along the highway, while hamlets, rice paddies and plantations spread out across the gently rising land to the south and west.
A Cam Lộ map poster shows how a single corridor can organise a whole place. The highway draws a firm line across the sheet and the river loops beside it. Around them, a scatter of village roads fills the space with a fine, irregular texture. It is a modest, legible composition that feels grounded in its landscape.
The road runs east to west through the town and becomes the backbone of the map, with buildings and side streets clustered along its length before thinning out.
The river curves across the lowland near the centre, adding a soft, meandering line that contrasts with the straighter course of the highway.
Toward the west, the road network becomes sparser as the ground climbs toward the hills, leaving wide quiet areas on the poster between isolated tracks.
