Ko e mape
Daryāpur is a town in Amravati district in the Vidarbha region of eastern Maharashtra, and the headquarters of its taluka. It sits on the broad, fertile plain of dark soil for which the region is known, a landscape of wide fields, small streams and scattered villages linked by country roads. From above, the town appears as a compact, densely built centre set within open agricultural country.
The older part of the town is a tight weave of narrow lanes, markets and closely packed houses, while newer residential areas extend outward along the main roads. Farming, particularly cotton, has long shaped life here, as it has across much of Vidarbha, and the rhythm of the harvest is felt in the town's markets and trade. Roads lead toward Amravati and neighbouring towns.
A Daryāpur map poster reduces all of this to its essential lines: the dense knot of streets at the centre, the roads radiating across the plain, and the fine field boundaries and watercourses that surround the town. Printed in black and white, the contrast between the crowded core and the open land gives the map a strong, grounded composition.
Narrow lanes and closely built blocks form the heart of the town, creating the darkest and most detailed area of the print.
Main roads leave the centre in several directions toward Amravati and nearby towns, giving the outline of the settlement a star-like shape.
Around the town, field boundaries and small watercourses create a fine, irregular pattern characteristic of the agricultural plains of Vidarbha.
