Ko e mape
Dreieich lies in southern Hesse, a short distance south of Frankfurt. The town was formed in 1977 by merging several older communities, including Sprendlingen, Dreieichenhain, Götzenhain, Offenthal and Buchschlag. From above, this history is still visible: distinct clusters of streets separated by fields and woodland, rather than a single continuous centre.
Dreieichenhain keeps a small medieval core, with the ruins of Burg Hayn, a castle that gave the historic Dreieich region its focus. Large areas of forest surround the town, part of the wooded belt south of Frankfurt, and they appear on the map as open spaces crossed by paths. Railway lines and roads connect the districts with each other and with the city.
A Dreieich map poster makes the most of this unusual structure: a group of settlements, each with its own shape, held together by roads, rail and forest. In black and white, the woods become calm white areas and the districts read like islands. It is a map for residents and anyone with a connection to this part of the Rhine-Main region.
Sprendlingen, Dreieichenhain, Götzenhain, Offenthal and Buchschlag appear as separate clusters, reflecting the town's creation from several communities in 1977.
The castle ruins at Dreieichenhain sit within a small medieval old town, whose compact, curving streets contrast with the newer districts.
Wide areas of woodland lie between and around the districts, part of the forested belt that stretches south of Frankfurt.

Ko e ha Dreieich
Dreieich is home to many people who work in Frankfurt but value the forest and quieter streets. A map shows the town's unusual shape at a glance and gives each district its place, which makes it a good gift for residents.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a district name or a family date. You can choose between five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Paper suits the soft areas of forest well.
