Ituzaingó lies in northern Corrientes province, on the southern bank of the Paraná River where it forms the border between Argentina and Paraguay. The river here is immense, and on a map it takes up as much space as the town itself. It is a broad pale band dotted with islands and channels, and it sets the scale for everything around it.
The Yacyretá hydroelectric project, a joint Argentine-Paraguayan dam built nearby from the 1980s onward, brought workers, housing and new roads to Ituzaingó. Its long embankment and the reservoir it created changed the river landscape. The town grew with planned neighbourhoods alongside its older grid, and much of its modern layout dates from those decades of construction.
Today the riverfront, its sandy beaches and the fishing draw visitors from across the region, especially in summer. An Ituzaingó map poster shows a town shaped by water. The street grid meets the shoreline, islands dot the river, and the vast Paraná separates two countries while the dam links them.
The northern edge of the town meets the river along a long shoreline. Streets end at the water, and the far bank lies in Paraguay.
A long embankment crosses the river near the town, part of one of the largest hydroelectric projects in South America. On a wider map it shows as a straight line across the water.
Islands and sandbanks scattered across the Paraná split the water into channels, adding irregular shapes to the broad pale expanse around the town.

Ko e ha Ituzaingó
Ituzaingó is a place of river summers, fishing trips and family holidays, and many who worked on the dam lived here for years. The town's name as the title and a year or family name in the subtitle turn the map into a keepsake.
Blueprint suits the engineering story of the dam, while Paper and Sand soften the wide river. Classic and Noir are also available. The $9 download includes six sizes, each a 300 DPI PNG and a print-ready PDF, and a free watermarked preview lets you check it first.
