Juexi is a town in Sichuan Province, in south-western China. It sits in the hilly country of the Sichuan Basin, a region of low rounded hills, small valleys and intensively farmed land. Like many towns in the basin, it serves as a local centre for the surrounding villages, with markets, schools and services drawing people in from the countryside.
From above, the town shows a compact core of streets surrounded by a much wider landscape of fields and scattered settlements.
