Ko e mape
Kabin Buri is a district town in Prachin Buri Province, in the east of Thailand. It sits on the lowland between the Bangkok plain and the hills that rise toward the Khorat Plateau. Its position has always been about movement: main highways toward the north-east and toward the Cambodian border pass through here, and the town has grown where they meet.
On the map, the older centre sits close to the river, with a compact set of streets and markets. Newer building stretches out along the highways in long, straight bands. Large rectangular blocks mark the industrial estates that have made the area an important manufacturing base. Between them lies an open patchwork of rice paddies and irrigation channels.
A Kabin Buri map poster captures a town in transition, where a riverside market centre meets the scale of modern roads and factories. It is not a place of famous monuments, but its structure is clear and easy to read: a river, a crossroads, and flat farmland reaching out toward forested hills on the horizon.
Major roads meet in the town from several directions. The junction organises the map and shows why Kabin Buri grew where it did.
The oldest streets sit near the river in a compact grid of lanes and market blocks, the densest and most detailed area of the poster.
Large, regular blocks along the highways mark the factory zones on the edge of town. Their broad geometric shapes contrast with the fine texture of the fields.
