Karamuck is a village in Thrissur district, in central Kerala. It lies on the low ground west of Thrissur city, a region of wetland paddy fields, canals and slow-moving water that is typical of this part of the Kerala coast. Much of the land sits close to sea level and floods seasonally.
On a map, the settlement follows the higher and drier ground. Houses and roads form long ribbons, with homes set among coconut palms and gardens, and the flat fields spread out between them.
