Lobakuya lies in the Bas-Sassandra District of southwestern Ivory Coast, a region of humid forest, rivers and farmland between the interior and the Atlantic coast. It matters locally rather than being widely known, and its map is modest. There is a core of streets and compounds, a few roads leading out, and a green surround that fills most of the frame.
Bas-Sassandra is one of the country's main cocoa-growing areas, and the land around towns like this is a mosaic of plantations, food plots and remaining forest. On a black and white print these areas become a soft, uneven texture. Dirt roads and footpaths draw thin lines through them, and small streams cut across the land.
A Lobakuya map poster is made for people who know the place personally: families from the area, people who work in the cocoa trade, or anyone who has spent time in this part of the country. The simple layout is part of its appeal, a clear picture of a community and the land it lives from.
Houses, compounds and short lanes gather in a compact centre. It is the most densely drawn part of the map and the natural focus of any framing.
A few roads and tracks lead away toward neighbouring towns and villages. They are the composition's main lines and connect the settlement to the wider district.
Plantations, farm plots and patches of forest surround the town. On the poster they are open space that sets off the streets and gives the print a sense of place.

For Ivorians living in Abidjan or abroad, a map of the home town is a quiet reminder of family and origins. Personalise the title and subtitle with a family name or a date, and the coordinates line will mark the place precisely.
There are five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Download the free 900 px preview to check the framing, then choose the $9 HD files in six sizes or a printed matte poster with an optional wooden frame.
