Molārband lies at the far southern edge of Delhi, near Badarpur and the boundary with Faridabad in Haryana. On a map it looks very different from the planned colonies elsewhere in the city: a tight, irregular weave of narrow lanes and small plots, grown over time around the core of an older village. Wider roads skirt the settlement and link it to the rest of the capital.
Like many of Delhi's urban villages, Molārband has grown quickly as people have moved in from other parts of India, and its density is striking at poster scale. Major routes toward Faridabad pass close by, and the settlement is part of a wider cluster of neighbourhoods in the southeast of the city.
