Mulgund Map Poster & Print

Mulgund is a town in Gadag district, in the dry plateau country of northern Karnataka. On a map it appears as a tight cluster of streets surrounded by wide, open farmland. Country roads lead out towards neighbouring villages and the district town of Gadag.

The town has a long history as a religious centre. Old Hindu and Jain temples from the medieval period survive among its houses and are part of the wider temple heritage of the Gadag region. Around them, the older lanes are narrow and irregular, grown over centuries rather than planned.

A Mulgund map poster captures that contrast between the dense historic core and the open land around it. The result is simple and restrained, and it suits anyone connected to the town by family, faith or memory.

Temple town core

Old temples stand within the centre, and the narrow, irregular lanes around them form the densest part of the street pattern.

02

Open plateau fields

Flat, open farmland of the Deccan plateau surrounds the town and gives the map a wide, quiet margin.

03

Roads to Gadag

Country roads fan out from the town towards Gadag and nearby villages, drawn as thin lines across the open landscape.
