Reẖovot Map Poster & Print

Rehovot lies on Israel's coastal plain, south of Tel Aviv. The map shows a city of fairly regular streets on flat ground, with a long main road running through the centre and newer neighbourhoods spreading out around it. Large campuses and green spaces make distinct open areas within the urban grid.

The city was founded in 1890 as an agricultural colony, and citrus groves once surrounded it. Today it is best known for the Weizmann Institute of Science, whose landscaped campus occupies a significant part of the map. Chaim Weizmann, Israel's first president, lived there, and the Hebrew University's Faculty of Agriculture is also in the city.

A Reẖovot map poster gives a picture of a city shaped by both farming and science. The dense streets of the centre contrast with the wide, park-like campuses, and the surrounding agricultural land adds a softer texture at the edges.
