Sisauli lies in Yamunanagar district, in the northeast corner of Haryana, close to the twin towns of Yamunanagar and Jagadhri. On a map it is part of the wider urban spread, with residential streets and roads linking it to neighbouring areas. Farmland lies on the outer side, divided into long, regular plots.
The district takes its name from the Yamuna, which flows a short distance to the east and forms the border with Uttar Pradesh. To the north, the plain rises toward the Shivalik foothills. The area is known for its timber and plywood industry, and small units line many of the main roads.
