Alicia Map Poster & Print
Alicia lies in the province of Isabela in the Cagayan Valley, one of the main rice-growing regions of the Philippines. The land is broad and flat, bounded far away by mountain ranges, and the map reflects it: a town centre laid out along the national highway, surrounded by an expanse of irrigated fields divided into small, irregular parcels.
The Maharlika Highway runs through Alicia and gives the map its main line, with the town's streets forming a modest grid around it. Beyond the centre, barangays are scattered across the fields, joined by farm roads and irrigation canals. The pattern is loose and open, with the town as a clear focal point.
An Alicia map poster is a portrait of an agricultural municipality where the land is as important as the streets. Stay close and you see the grid of the poblacion; step back and you see the rhythm of fields, canals and villages. For people from Isabela, both views are part of the same place.
