Avtury Map Poster & Print
Avtury lies in the Shali district of Chechnya, on the plain at the foot of the Caucasus mountains, south-east of Grozny. From above, it appears as a broad settlement of long, straight streets, lined with houses and gardens, stretching across flat ground toward the foothills.
Like many villages in the region, Avtury is spread out rather than dense, with large household plots and wide spaces between the streets. A small river and irrigation channels cross the area, and farmland extends in all directions around the built-up land.
An Avtury map poster shows the village's regular, elongated form, with fields at its edges and the rising ground to the south. The long streets and wide plots give the print a spacious, orderly structure that works well at larger sizes.

Foothill edge
