The central streets follow a largely regular grid. This compact block of right angles gives the poster a stable, geometric centre that reads well at every size.

Candelária Map Poster & Print
Candelária lies in the centre of Rio Grande do Sul, in the region around the Rio Pardo valley, where the southern Brazilian lowlands begin to rise toward the plateau. The town is laid out on a largely regular grid, and from above it looks tidy and compact against the surrounding patchwork of fields and wooded stream valleys.
The municipality is known to paleontologists for rocks of Triassic age, which have yielded fossils of early reptiles and other animals more than two hundred million years old. Farming shapes the land around the town, with tobacco among the region's characteristic crops, and rural roads linking farms and small communities spread in a loose network across the hills.
A Candelária map poster balances the order of the town grid with the softer, winding lines of the countryside. That contrast suits a minimal black-and-white print: the centre reads as a firm, rectangular core, while streams and country tracks fill the space around it with gentle movement.

Stream valleys
Small rivers and streams wind through the farmland around town. Their courses are marked by irregular bands of trees that soften the edges of the map.
Rural road network
Country roads fan out from the town toward farms and neighbouring communities, forming a light, open web across the rolling landscape.
