Coastal highway
The main road north from Cebu City runs along the shore. Most of the town's streets hang off it like branches on a stem.

Consolacion Map Poster & Print
Consolacion lies on the eastern coast of Cebu island, just north of Mandaue and inside Metro Cebu. The town stretches between the shallow coastal waters and the hills of the island's interior. On a map the built-up area forms a band along the coastal highway, with lanes branching inland that thin out as the ground rises.
In places the shoreline is lined with mangroves and fishponds, which appear as irregular, finely divided shapes at the water's edge. Inland the network is looser, with subdivisions and villages spread across the slopes. The town has grown quickly as part of the Cebu metropolitan area, and new roads and housing keep filling the space between older settlements.
A Consolacion map poster shows a place in transition: a coastal town turning into a suburb, still framed by sea on one side and hills on the other. For residents, and for people with family roots here, it is an honest picture of how the town fits together, drawn without decoration.

Shoreline edge
Mangroves and fishponds give the coast an intricate outline, a detailed boundary between land and shallow water on the eastern side of the map.
Inland slopes
West of the highway, roads wind uphill into the interior, and the street pattern loosens into scattered subdivisions and barangays.
