Lençóis Paulista Map Poster & Print
Lençóis Paulista lies in the interior of São Paulo state, in rolling farm country far from the coast. Like many towns in the region, it was planned as a grid: straight streets meeting at right angles, forming square blocks that spread out from the historic centre. On the map, that regular pattern is easy to see and gives the town a steady, ordered look.
The Rio Lençóis runs past the town, and its winding course and green margins break up the grid where the streets meet the river valley. Newer neighbourhoods have grown outward in all directions, some keeping the original grid, others following curved streets. Beyond them, the map opens into large farm plots and rural roads.
The local economy is closely tied to agriculture and industry, especially sugarcane and forestry products, which is why the countryside around the town is so open. A Lençóis Paulista map poster shows the town as it sits in that landscape: a tidy urban grid, a winding river and wide farmland all around.
