Mabalacat City Map Poster & Print
Mabalacat City is at the northern edge of Pampanga on the wide Central Luzon plain. From above, it follows the main north-south routes. The old national highway and the expressway both run through it, and houses and businesses are strung out along them. Barangay roads branch off toward rice fields to the east and toward rising ground to the west, which leads up to the Zambales mountains.
Part of the former Clark Air Base, now the Clark Freeport Zone, lies within the city limits. Its airfield runways, broad planned roads and green open spaces stand out from the tighter town grid next to it. Farther west lies Mount Pinatubo. Its 1991 eruption covered much of this area in ash and lahar, and the river channels coming down from the volcano are still wide and pale on the map.
A Mabalacat City map poster brings together very different kinds of layout. It shows the long lines of the highways, the planned grid and runways of Clark, the older town centre and the braided riverbeds that come down from Pinatubo. In black and white, those contrasts become the whole design. It is a useful portrait of a place that keeps changing as the Clark area grows.

Highway spine
The old national highway and the expressway both run north-south through Mabalacat. Most of the town is built along these two lines.
Lahar channels
Wide riverbeds that carried volcanic debris from Pinatubo cross the land to the west. They appear as broad, braided shapes among the streets and fields.
