Town core
The main streets of Miaozi gather into a compact built-up area, a denser patch of lines that anchors the centre of the composition and draws the eye first.

Miaozi Map Poster & Print
Miaozi is a town in central Shandong province, in the transitional country where the flat North China Plain begins to rise toward the uplands at the heart of the province. From above, its streets form a moderate cluster, with farm roads and village lanes spreading outward across land that becomes more folded and irregular toward the south.
The region has been farmed intensively for centuries, and orchards, terraced plots and village clusters are common around towns like this one. Rather than a single dominant landmark, Miaozi's map is defined by texture: the interplay of small roads, field boundaries and the watercourses that run down from higher ground toward the plain.
A Miaozi map poster brings out that texture in fine line work, balancing the denser town streets with the lighter rural pattern around them. It is a thoughtful, unshowy image, suited to anyone whose family comes from this part of Shandong or who wants to remember time spent there.

Rural road network
Narrow roads and lanes link the town to surrounding villages, forming an irregular web that reflects the gently uneven terrain of central Shandong.
Streams and valleys
Small watercourses descend from the hills toward the plain, their curving courses adding softer lines among the straighter fields and roads.
