River confluence
Several upstream rivers join here to form the Min, which flows on toward the coast. The water forms a clear branching pattern through the middle of the map.

Nanping Map Poster & Print
Nanping lies in the mountainous north of Fujian, and its central districts follow the rivers because the land around them is so steep. From above, the built area looks like narrow bands of streets squeezed between water and wooded slopes. Bridges cross the river at short intervals, stitching together neighbourhoods that the valleys would otherwise keep apart.
The Jianxi, Futunxi and Shaxi rivers join near Nanping, and from there the water continues toward Fuzhou and the sea as the Min River. This confluence gives the city its shape. Instead of a single centre, it has several arms reaching up separate valleys, with the ridges between them left as blank, unbuilt ground on the map.
The wider prefecture includes the Wuyi Mountains, known for their scenery and for the rock teas grown on their slopes. A Nanping map poster focuses on the urban core, where the rivers, bridges and hillside roads make a detailed but uncrowded composition. It suits anyone who knows the city's terrain and ferry-crossing past.

Valley streets
The streets run in long strips along the riverbanks and do not spread into wide grids. The layout follows the lines of the valleys, and the hills stay open around them.
Frequent bridges
Many road bridges cross the river within a short distance. At poster scale, they read as regular crossbars linking the two banks.
