Ōamishirasato Map Poster & Print
Ōamishirasato lies in Chiba Prefecture, east of Chiba city, on the broad Kujūkuri plain along the Pacific coast of the Bōsō Peninsula. The land is almost entirely flat, so on the map it reads as a fine mosaic of rice paddies, residential clusters and farm roads. Rail lines and larger routes cross it on their way toward the coast.
The municipality was formed by merging the former towns of Ōami and Shirasato, and it became a city in 2013. Ōami Station, where the JR Sotobō Line and Tōgane Line meet, is the main transport hub. Much of the urban growth has spread out around it, serving residents who commute to Chiba and Tokyo.
An Ōamishirasato map poster suits the calm geometry of the plain. Paddy boundaries create a subtle grid, the railway tracks and main roads form strong diagonals, and small patches of woodland add dark accents. The result is a quiet, balanced design with a strong sense of place.

Paddy field pattern
Flat rice fields surround the built-up areas, divided into regular plots by narrow paths and irrigation channels. In black and white they give the map a soft, repeating texture.
Toward the Kujūkuri coast
The city lies on the Kujūkuri plain, which ends in one of Japan's longest sandy beaches. A wider framing brings the straight coastline and its parallel roads into view.
