Plain-edged grid
The street network is compact and regular, and it stops cleanly where the town meets open plain, giving the poster a clear, almost diagrammatic outline.

Omīdīyeh Map Poster & Print
Omīdīyeh sits on the broad, low plain of Khuzestan in southwestern Iran, where the land spreads out toward the Zagros foothills to the north and east. From above, the town reads as a tidy block of streets surrounded by open country. The edges are sharp, with little sprawl, and most of the map's detail is packed into a small, legible core.
The town is tied to the oil industry that shaped much of Khuzestan in the twentieth century, and it is also known in Iran for its air base. On a map this shows as long, direct roads leading out across the plain and a street pattern laid out with purpose rather than growing around one old centre.
A Omīdīyeh map poster keeps to that plainness. Black lines on a white ground trace the grid, the arterial roads and the surrounding emptiness, which does as much work in the composition as the streets themselves. The result is quiet and precise, a record of a working town on a wide, flat landscape.

Roads across the plain
Straight regional roads leave the town in several directions, drawing long single lines across otherwise empty ground and linking Omīdīyeh to the wider Khuzestan network.
Open surroundings
Large areas of unbuilt land around the town leave generous white space, which frames the urban core and makes the density of its blocks easy to read.

Waarom Omīdīyeh
Een kaart met betekenis
People who grew up here, served here or worked in the region's oil fields often want a reminder that is specific rather than sentimental. A clean street map of the town does that, showing the exact grid of home without decoration.
You can add your own title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example a family name or a year, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The file comes in six print sizes, or as a printed poster.
