Town centre
The core of Pallisa is a compact group of streets around markets and shops. It is the densest part of the map and the meeting point for the district's roads.

Pallisa Map Poster & Print
Pallisa is the main town of Pallisa District in Eastern Uganda, in a low, gently rolling landscape south of Lake Kyoga. The countryside is agricultural, with smallholdings growing crops such as millet, cassava, rice and cotton, and it is laced with seasonal swamps and wetlands that drain toward the lake system. The town is the administrative and market centre of the district.
On a map, Pallisa is a modest cluster of streets around a central market and trading area, with roads leading out toward neighbouring districts. Beyond the town, the land opens into small fields and scattered homesteads, crossed by the irregular, branching shapes of wetlands. The pattern is loose and organic, far from the density of a big city.
A Pallisa map poster is a keepsake for people from the district, whether they live in Mbale, Kampala or abroad, and for anyone connected to Eastern Uganda. In a minimal style, the roads and wetlands become a calm composition that speaks of home without needing labels or colour.

Radiating roads
Roads lead out of town in several directions, linking Pallisa with neighbouring district centres. On the poster they read as clear lines across open, lightly marked farmland.
Wetlands
Seasonal swamps and wetlands connected to the Lake Kyoga basin wind through the area, forming soft, branching shapes that contrast with the straight roads.
