Pus river edge
The Pus river curves along the town as a slim, dark line. It anchors the composition and shows where the earliest streets grew up, close to the water.

Pusad Map Poster & Print
Pusad lies in the Yavatmal district of Maharashtra, on the eastern side of the Deccan plateau, and takes its name from the Pus river that runs past it. From above, the town is a dense core of short, irregular lanes. Newer housing wraps around it and spreads along the main roads. Beyond that edge the pattern changes quickly into the long field boundaries of a farming region.
The river is the strongest line on the map, a narrow winding channel that the town has grown beside rather than across. Roads leave the centre in several directions toward nearby towns and villages, and each one carries a thin ribbon of buildings with it. The result is a star-like outline that stays easy to recognise even at the smallest print sizes.
Pusad is closely associated with the Naik family of politicians, including Vasantrao Naik, one of the longest-serving chief ministers of Maharashtra. A Pusad map poster leaves that history aside and keeps things simpler: black lines for streets, a clear trace for the river, and the quiet white space of the surrounding farmland, which gives the town its shape on paper.

Dense town core
At the centre the street network tightens into short, crooked lanes, forming the darkest and most detailed patch on the printed map.
Radiating roads
Main roads leave town toward the rest of the district, each lined with buildings for a stretch, giving Pusad a star-shaped outline against open fields.
