Qingxichang Map Poster & Print
Qingxichang is a town in the southeastern part of Chongqing Municipality, a hilly region near the borders with Guizhou and Hunan. From above, the town does not follow a regular grid. Its streets fit into the flatter ground of the valley, and roads leave it along the lines of least resistance through the surrounding hills.
This part of Chongqing is home to Tujia and Miao communities, and the landscape of steep hills, terraced fields and small rivers shapes where people build and farm. On a map, the built-up area forms a compact cluster, and beyond it the lines become sparse, tracing country roads and water through the slopes.
A Qingxichang map poster is a quiet, unpretentious print. It is not built around landmarks. It shows the shape of a small town in its terrain: a dense core, winding roads and the empty space of the hills around it. That makes it especially meaningful for people who come from here.

Valley roads
Roads leave the town along valleys and gentler slopes and wind toward neighbouring villages. On the map their curves trace the shape of the land without needing any contour lines.
Hill country
Around the town, the map becomes sparse where steep hills and fields take over. The quiet space frames the settlement and shows how closely it is held by the terrain.
