Hill-hugging roads
Main roads follow the valleys and bend around ridges, creating flowing curves instead of a strict grid, a signature of Chongqing's terrain.

Shuanglonghu Map Poster & Print
Shuanglonghu lies in Chongqing's Yubei District, north of the old city's river peninsula. From above, it shows the typical Chongqing pattern where the terrain dictates the plan: roads follow valleys and wrap around low ridges, leaving green hilltops as islands among dense blocks. There is little of the straight grid seen on flat Chinese plains.
Large residential compounds and wide boulevards make up most of the built area, with expressway ramps curving in broad loops where major routes meet. Small lakes and ponds, together with the parks around them, add rounded patches of calm. The name itself means Double Dragon Lake, a reminder that water was part of the picture from the start.
A Shuanglonghu map poster shows a young district in fast-growing Chongqing, its road network still clearly shaped by the land it was built on. It suits anyone who knows the district or wants a Chongqing map less crowded than the busy river core, one that shows how the city expands across its hills.

Lakes and parks
Ponds and green spaces sit between the housing compounds, appearing on the map as soft rounded shapes among the larger blocks.
Expressway loops
Interchanges draw wide, looping ramps that stand out as the most geometric elements in an otherwise organic street pattern.
