Sougueur Map Poster & Print
Sougueur lies in Tiaret province in northwestern Algeria, on the high plateaus between the Tell Atlas and the Saharan Atlas. The country here is open and rolling, used for cereal farming and grazing, and on the map the town appears as a compact grid of streets surrounded by large, empty spaces crossed by a few long roads.
Like many towns on the plateaus, its centre follows a regular plan of straight streets and rectangular blocks, with newer housing districts added at the edges as the population grew. It serves as a market and service centre for the surrounding farms and villages, linked by road to Tiaret to the north.
A Sougueur map poster shows a clear, legible town: an orderly grid, main roads leaving in straight lines and wide, open land all around. The simplicity of the layout gives the print a calm, geometric look.
