Road junction centre
The town grew where several roads meet. Those routes run out from the centre like spokes, which gives the map a clear focal point and a strong sense of direction.

Vāda Map Poster & Print
Vāda is a town in Maharashtra's Palghar district. It lies inland from the Arabian Sea coast, north-east of Mumbai, in country that rises gradually toward the hills of the Western Ghats. From above, the town is a compact cluster of streets at a meeting of roads, with fields, streams and scattered villages spreading out on every side.
The street pattern is irregular rather than planned. Lanes branch off the main roads and fold back on each other, and the density drops quickly toward the edges, where individual plots and farm tracks take over. In a monochrome print that shift from a tight centre to a loose outer area produces a soft, organic shape with no hard borders.
A Vāda map poster is a quiet, personal choice. It is not a skyline city or a landmark people collect, but a real town that local families know street by street. The map preserves that layout: the roads that bring people in from the surrounding villages, the central blocks where they meet, and the open land that frames it all.

Organic lanes
Inside the town, lanes curve and branch rather than follow a grid. At poster scale they read as fine, handwritten-looking lines around the main roads.
Rural surroundings
Fields, small streams and village tracks surround the built area. They leave open space around the town that keeps the composition light.

Waarom Vāda
Een kaart met betekenis
If you grew up in Vāda or your family comes from the villages around it, this map records a place that rarely appears on any wall. It makes a thoughtful gift for parents or relatives, or a link to home for someone who has moved to Mumbai or overseas.
You can change the title and subtitle, perhaps to the family's name or the town's name in Marathi script, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand.
