Xiaojia Map Poster & Print
Xiaojia is a town in Chongqing Municipality, set in the hilly countryside north and west of the main urban area. The landscape is made of rounded hills, narrow valleys and terraced fields, and the town sits within this rolling terrain rather than on a flat plain.
From above, the centre is a compact grouping of streets, with roads leaving in several directions and bending around the slopes. Ponds and small reservoirs are scattered across the farmland, and field boundaries create a fine pattern across the surrounding land.
A Xiaojia map poster brings out the character of a rural Chongqing town: dense at the centre, loose and organic at the edges. It is a personal choice for people whose families come from the area and want to keep its exact shape on the wall.

Curving roads
Roads leave the town following the contours of the land, curving around hills and creating flowing lines across the map.
Terraced farmland
Fields and ponds surround the town, adding small irregular shapes and a gentle texture to the space beyond the streets.
