Anklesvar INA is the industrial notified area of Ankleshwar in Gujarat's Bharuch district, on the south side of the Narmada river, opposite the city of Bharuch. It is best known as the site of the GIDC Ankleshwar estate, one of the largest concentrations of chemical and pharmaceutical industry in India.
That purpose is visible on the map. Instead of the tight lanes of an old town, the estate is laid out along long, straight roads that divide the land into large rectangular plots for factories and plants. Housing colonies for workers and staff add smaller-grained areas. Major rail and highway routes between Mumbai and Ahmedabad run nearby.

The Narmada flows north of Ankleshwar towards the Gulf of Khambhat. Its broad channel separates the town from Bharuch and gives the composition a natural edge.
