Ichhāwar is a town in Sehore district, Madhya Pradesh, on the broad Malwa plateau west of Bhopal. The map shows a compact settlement with a dense core of lanes. Roads lead outward to neighbouring towns and villages across mostly level country.
Farmland surrounds the town, divided into fields by tracks and boundaries. Ponds, tanks and seasonal streams show up as small shapes and thin lines. The effect is typical of central India: a close-knit town surrounded by space.
