Kundli lies in Sonipat district, Haryana, right at the northern border of Delhi. From above, it is defined by roads. National Highway 44, the old Grand Trunk Road, runs through it in a wide straight line, and the Kundli–Manesar–Palwal expressway begins nearby, its interchanges forming large looping shapes on the map.
Around the highway, Kundli has grown into an industrial area, with factory estates laid out in regular blocks. Older village settlements remain between them, with denser, more irregular streets. In 2020 and 2021, the highway at the Singhu–Kundli border became one of the main sites of the farmers' protests, when thousands of people camped along the road for months.
